When you sign in with Apple we receive your Apple account identifier and, if you share it, your email address. The farm records you create — paddocks, jobs, livestock, weather readings, people you add to your roster — are stored so they can sync between your devices and your team.
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your farm records for anything except running PocketPaddock for you. There is no advertising or cross-app tracking in the product.
Records are kept on your device first, so the app works offline, and synced to our hosted database (Supabase) when you're signed in. Map imagery is served by Mapbox; their servers receive map tile requests as you pan and zoom. Optional iCloud backup stores a copy in your own iCloud Drive.
People you invite to your farm see that farm's records — that's the point of a shared farm. Removing a member stops their access to new changes.
Settings → Delete account erases the farms you own, your memberships and your login. Farms you own are deleted for every member, so hand ownership over first if the farm should outlive your account.
